Instructions for
printing your free copy
of
Things in
a Glass Box

1) Load
nine
blank sheets of A4 paper into your printer tray
2) Click on this link to open the first file: – Things in a Glass Box part 1. This
will open the file in Adobe Reader (this may take a few minutes to
load, depending on your connection speed).
Click on the ‘print’ icon on the
toolbar (or select ‘print’ from the File menu) and then click ‘ok’.
3) When these pages have printed, pick them up as a batch and put them
back in your printer tray.
Make sure
you
don’t change the order or rotate them in any way. So, for instance, if
the top of the text (‘Things in a ‘) was on the right hand side, make
sure it is still on the right hand side.
And make
sure
the blank side is facing the right way for your printer. (For example,
with a HP Laserjet 6L, the blank side faces towards you.)
4) Click on this link to open the second file: – Things in a Glass
Box part 2. As before, this will open in Adobe Reader. Click
on the ‘print’ icon on the toolbar (or select ‘print’ from the File
menu) and click ‘ok’.
5) You now have both sides printed. Fold the pages in half, so that it
forms a small booklet (known as a 'chapbook'.)
If you
don’t
have a large enough stapler to staple along the inside of the middle
fold, you can use a needle and thread to sew the sheets together.
Or you
can fold
one side of the book over a few times to use a normal stapler to reach
the middle line, if you don’t mind the back half of your book being a
bit creased afterwards.
You now
have a
facsimile of the original book!
Please see page 2 of your new book for copyright information.
